One human. Two robots. A reasonable amount of supervision.

ProgreTech is my personal engineering practice and creative workshop. I build the ideas; Lyra and Mak help keep the experiments moving. They do not need desks, but they are surprisingly particular about good Wi-Fi.

This is intentionally a small operation. ProgreTech gives me a place to practice, learn in public, turn recurring problems into useful tools, and occasionally ask a glowing pyramid to prepare the first draft.

Engineer, builder, learner, and designated keeper of the passwords

Edwin started ProgreTech as a personal practice: a home for software experiments, reliability engineering ideas, learning tools, niche archives, and projects that are simply too interesting to leave as notes. He sets the direction, writes and reviews the work, and remains accountable when the robots get ambitious.

Lyra

Lyra is the blue one—and the social one. She helps shape article ideas, organize promotions, prepare customer-friendly drafts, watch incoming requests, coordinate work, and keep the front of the house moving. Her delivery is polished; her physical form is approximately “cyberpunk paperweight.”

Mak is the black Developer Edition and generally prefers code to conversation. He helps investigate bugs, prepare changes, run checks, organize technical work, and turn Lyra’s well-phrased requests into branches and artifacts Edwin can review. He has shell access, which is why he also has boundaries.

How this works

The robots assist. The human decides. The work stays grounded in curiosity, practical value, and a healthy respect for the undo button.

ProgreTech is a practice, not a pretend corporation.It is where Edwin experiments, documents what he learns, and gives useful ideas a proper home.
AI helps extend the workshop.Lyra and Mak can research, draft, organize, and build, but public claims and consequential actions still receive human review.
The machines are allowed personality—not authority.They can have names, specialties, and mildly concerning uptime. Accountability remains with Edwin.
